EVENT FIRST RESPONDER - Non-Qualified

Heart Medical are looking to recruit and train Event First Responders to deliver medical cover at public events.

Full training is provided for this role and you will get a wide range of skills including First Aid at Work & AED, Safe Administration of Emergency Medical Gases, Safeguarding, Infection Prevention & Control, Manual Handling and more.

Covering a wide range of events, our Event First Responders will be a highly visible role model, not only in respect of what you do, but also in the way that you conduct yourself with our patients, the public and colleagues.

Working in stadia, concerts, sporting events, festivals, motorsport, equestrian and community gatherings you’ll be a key part of our event service.

As we work 24/7, 365 days a year, you’ll also need to work flexibly and at different times. Our shift patterns mean that you could work up to 12 hours at a time, including: nights; weekends and bank holidays, over 24 hours a day, in all weathers

No two events will be the same: you might respond to a casualty with a broken bone, someone who is having a heart attack or be providing demonstrations of live saving First Aid techniques.

All  training will be provided by Heart Medical to ensure you deliver the highest standard of patient care through a wide range of skills such as First Aid, Emergency Oxygen & Defibrillation.

Please ensure you have fully demonstrated on the application form how you meet the essential criteria from the person specification as initial sifting will be performed against this criterion. Successfully sifted candidates will undergo a written paper and interview.
